Wi-Fi Intruder Detection

Home security in Canada needs an upgrade. Break-ins and targeted home invasions call for earlier warnings than traditional alarms and cameras can provide. Your home Wi-Fi can work like radar to detect movement through walls without recording video or sending data to the cloud.

Your Wi-Fi Becomes a Radar

Wi-Fi as Radar

Detection Through Walls, No Cameras

Your Wi-Fi router fills your home with invisible radio waves, and anything that moves disturbs them, like ripples in a pond. We upgrade your router’s software so it notices those ripples. The result: your whole home becomes a motion detector that works through walls and in total darkness, with no cameras to install and nothing to wear.

Smart, Not Just Sensitive

It Learns Who Belongs in Your Home

A small computer, about the size of a deck of cards, learns the normal rhythm of your household: everyone walks a little differently, and it recognizes those patterns. Your family moving around is ignored; an unfamiliar walk at an unexpected hour raises the alarm on your phone. Pair it with our local cameras and accuracy gets remarkably high. Everything it learns stays inside your house.

Security Without Surveillance

No video in private spaces, no cloud accounts, no data sent to an external cloud provider. It protects your home without watching your family, and it keeps working even when the internet is down.

How It Works Under the Hood

The Sensing Layer

Wi-Fi CSI, Channel State Information

Every Wi-Fi frame carries Channel State Information (CSI): per-subcarrier amplitude and phase data describing exactly how the signal propagated, and bounced, through your home. Human motion perturbs these multipath reflections in characteristic ways. We flash compatible routers with OpenWrt and extract the CSI stream in real time, turning a commodity access point into a passive radar.

Gait Recognition on Edge AI

A single-board computer (SBC) runs a local neural network trained on your household’s movement signatures, gait recognition from radio data rather than video. Familiar gait patterns are whitelisted; anomalous ones trigger alerts. Where appropriate, the system fuses CSI detections with local RTSP camera feeds for verification, pushing accuracy higher while keeping the processing on hardware inside your home.
